BANGKOK TRIP DAY 3: Mango Tango@Siam Square

During the days at Bangkok, all we did is eat, walk, sleep and repeat! HAHA Bangkok is overloaded with nice food which I can say. I had more than 3 meals a day, which was crazy! After having dinner at Som Tam Nua, we went to Mango Tango for desserts. Girls being girls hehe.

BANGKOK TRIP DAY3 : Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market & Sam Tam Nua Dinner

Hey there! It has been LOOOOOOOONG while since I updated my blog. I had been overloaded with assignments, lab reports and exams after I started my university life. However, it is a really nice experience studying in the university. I met a lot of nice friends and joined countless events like Fresher's event, VLVN performance night, Mid-autumn festival event, steamboat party etc.

And sorry for the late post. I feel like I should finish blogging my Bangkok Trip. So here is a quick update about my Day 3 trip. We went to Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market after fleeing from the overcrowded place which is the Grand Palace. I planned to visit this place because it is rated 4.5/5 on Tripadvisor. It is not a touristy area so you will not see many tourists here.

BANGKOK TRIP DAY 3: THE GRAND PALACE

It has been weeks since I posted about my bangkok trip. My friend even complained about this HAHAHA. University life is quite hectic for me. I am trying to achieve a good balance between studies and curriculum activities, hopefully I will be able to cope with this well.

Okay let's turn on the time machine and travel back to few months ago in Bangkok, that was a lovely morning. We had our morning fuels at our hotel and I love this hotel seriously! I will blog about the hotel once I have finished blogging my bangkok trip so do stay tuned :D

Tips on visiting Chatuchak Weekend Market | Napat Closet & Cafe

Finally I have some time to sit down and continue to ramble about my Bangkok Trip. OH MY GOD I am still blogging about Day2 in Bangkok. Literally, I have too much to share so I need to split it into several blog posts. I am sorry I have neglected this space for awhile, some of you may know I have just started my university life at Nottingham University. These few weeks of school have been hectic, but somehow I did have a great time there :D

Okay back to the topic ! My mum and I went to Chatuchak Weekend Market after having our scrumptious lunch at Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market. This market is the most popular market in Bangkok! If you don't get a chance to visit this market, you really gonna miss out the interesting part of Bangkok.

BANGKOK TRIP DAY2 : Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market

Disclaimer: Stop reading this post with an empty stomach especially in the middle of the night

Visiting floating market is totally a must when you travel to Thailand! I always wanted to visit the authentic Bangkok floating market since I was small.

I choose this floating market because it is only 30 minutes away from Bangkok. It is a good escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. In addition, the floating market is lesser known than the tremendously touristed floating markets such as Damneon Saduak and Amphawa. Most importantly, the visitors here are mainly the locals, so it is not spoilt by the tourists. We could hardly see any tourists in sight, which was a good start in that regard.

BANGKOK TRIP AUG2015 DAY1 : Central World / Siam Center / Siam Square One

Finally I get to squeeze out some time to blog about my Bangkok trip. As some of you may know, I went to Bangkok two weeks after the blast in Erawan Shrine - A bomb causing mass casualties and fatalities. The tragedy had caused grief to the victims' families and friends. I was struggling with anxiety, thinking about my upcoming trip there at that time. I had already booked and paid for everything! This was the trip which I had been anticipating for so long! Should I cancel? Or go on?

Mir Guesthouse@Jeju Island

Mir Guesthouse is definitely the best guesthouse I have ever stayed so far! Highly recommended for all travellers or backpackers who visit Jeju. When I was searching so hard for the accommodation in Jeju Island, my friend showed me the pictures of this guesthouse, I literally fell for the fascinating view and awesome architecture of this guesthouse.

Plan A Hostel @ Dongdaemun area

The reason I love to stay at guesthouse because it makes me feel like home. I received endless warmth during all my stays in guesthouses. Moreover, the price was pretty affordable and reasonable, which was roughly around RM100 per night.

Zaza Backpackers Hostel @ Myeongdong area

To be honest, I stayed at 4 different guesthouses during my trip to Korea. I like to discover different types of accommodations when I travel. I prefer staying nearer to the places I want to go as I can just walk there and this shorten my journey time eventually. However, I had neglected an important consequences which is I actually need to pack and unpack my luggage in order to move to other places. Okay, pack and unpack, pack and unpack......... It drives me crazyyyyyy omg. I had my lesson learnt.

JEJU DAY 2 : Eco Land Theme Park

Eco Land Theme Park is famous for its beautiful forest. I think what makes it become so unique and popular is the mini forest train which enables visitors to explore around the mysterious Gotjawal forest. The forest trains are hand-made by a British SEVEN-LAMB company, which also produces Euro Disney and Hong Kong Disney trains.

JEJU DAY 2 : Sunrise Peak | Seopji Koji | Seong Eup Folk Village

Loving my expression on the above picture to the max. I don't know. This is the most memorable ones which I can feel myself as the happiest person in the world. Hmm, I guess it was the satisfaction of travelling. My definition of travelling of course.

JEJU DAY 2: Manjanggul Lava Tube & Jeju Mazeland

During our Korea trip , I was glad that we didn't miss the chance to visit this utterly breath taking place in Korea - Jeju Island. We enjoyed our nice and relaxing time here, by having a break from the "fast-paced" Seoul city.

We started our first day of journey by joining a bus day trip ( east course) as you know there aren't much public transportation in Jeju Island such as Subway train to have sightseeing around the island by yourself. However, you can see taxis almost everywhere on the island which provide much more convenience for us if we want to go certain places. You can take the bus though, if you know how to speak or read Korean.

Shopping and Sightseeing in Dongdaemun & Dongdaemun Design Plaza

Dongdaemun is one of the hottest shopping areas in Korea.  Most of the tourists visit here to hunt for clothes. But I don't really do much shopping here because:

1. I think it was overrated , the price was 15000won above for a piece of shirt / blouse , some can up to 50,000won ( what a scary price!) It wasn't as cheap as I thought they would be.

2. I tried to bargain but failed every time.

Tips for visiting Ihwa Mural Village

Hey peeps! It is Korea blog post again yayyyy. Besides Miss Lee Cafe and 10x10, we also visited Ihwa Mural Village which is located nearby Hyehwa too. I think this place deserves to have its individual blog post because the place is so amazing ! This village has colorful, subtle and creative murals that you can take a look as you stroll up and downThere were approximately 60 artists who really worked hard to paint walls and install artworks in order to beautify the village.

Review of Miss Lee Cafe & 10x10 @Hyehwa

Hello readers, sorry that I have been slacking a lot these days. I wish to blog about all my Korea Trip in a month but I fail to do it TT I was too busy preparing my IELTS exam these days, I hope I can get at least band 7.0 or above. I really put much effort into it. So, wish me luck guys.

Well, let's continue with the topic. Yeah, we visited MISS LEE CAFE which located at Hyehwa during the trip. Don't worry if you miss this place, there are 2 other branches where you can find in Korea!

Common Ground , Coex Mall , SM Coexartium

Common Ground is a shopping mall which loaded with 200 cargo containers near Konkuk University. It launched successfully few months ago and became the World's largest Pop-up Shopping mall. The cool, unique architectural design of this mall really caught my attention. The deep blue colour of the building blended so well with the sky, I couldn't stop myself from staring at it.

K-Star Road and SM , FNC , JYP Entertainment

Hey readers ! I know that I haven't update my blog nearly a week because... I was busying about my university interview. Guess what? I have been offered by Nottingham University but it is conditional. I need to make sure my final results for A2 exam meet the requirements T.T so wish me luck !

Okay let's go on with the topic ! Owhhh I really miss this place so much ! I regretted that I didn't wait for a longer time in front my idol's entertainment company.. I really wish to see him in real lifeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

We headed to K-Star Road which located at Apgujeong Rodeo Station. I was sooooooooooo excited because I would be going to visit the place that my idol usually works! Inhaling the same air with him, walking through the places that he stepped before... OMGGGGGG ( Ignore my craziness hahaha )

Apgujeong Rodeo Subway Station. I like the luxurious ambiance here
