Brunch at Take Eat Easy Modern Bakery & Cafe

Last Saturday, my friend and I paid a visit to Take Eat Easy Cafe which is located at Bandar Menjalara ( opposite to Tesco Kepong Village). This place seems to be the "hit" place for breakfast or brunch HAHAHA. To be honest, I have heard a lot of bad reviews regarding the food and service. However, I insisted to go and have a try. I love things that are simple and elegant, so for me, the cafe was lovely to sit in.

Literally, I fell in love with this futuristic styled cafe. Everything is elegantly furbished, especially the dim lighting here.

There are more people during weekends, it may take about 20 minutes to have a seat. You can look for this guy (who are wearing the denim top in the picture above) to get a number for the queue. He will arrange the seats for you shortly lol. But if you prefer to have a quiet environment, do visit the cafe on weekdays to avoid the crowds.

I walked to the bakery area while waiting to be seated. The wide varieties of pastries and cakes caught my attention. Can I have a try on each of these? !!! <3

The menu features mostly all-day breakfast set, sandwich, waffle, dessert and salad! Their beverages look very appetizing as well. Sadly, the prices are not as "delicious" as the food.

And here comes the food! 

 Aloha Vacation - Watermelon, Honeydew, Orange (RM9.50)

The interesting part of the cafe is the squeeze juice are served in a "bulb" ! HAHA the good news is you can actually bring the bulb-like container home. The juice was fresh but it couldn't quench my thirst well due to its poor amount.

Ice Lemon Tea ( RM9) 

My friend ordered this and she told me it was really niceeeeee. And amazingly, it was served in a beaker!

 Potato Salad ( RM13.50)

Mustard egg-mayo potato salad with turkey bacon bits, broccoli and cherry tomatoes. 

The Meats ( RM20.80)

Thin crust pizza with beef bacon, beef salami, Italian pepperoni, chicken ham and smoked duck.

So, we spent the whole afternoon chatting and chilling in the cafe. I valued the time we spent together because I found that it is quite hard to catch up with old friends after we graduated from primary school/high school./college. They have their things to do, maybe businesses to deal with. Still,  I really hope that we can manage to contact with each other despite the busy schedule we have in the university.
