Mir Guesthouse is definitely the best guesthouse I have ever stayed so far! Highly recommended for all travellers or backpackers who visit Jeju. When I was searching so hard for the accommodation in Jeju Island, my friend showed me the pictures of this guesthouse, I literally fell for the fascinating view and awesome architecture of this guesthouse.
As you can see from the photos, the shape and figure of the guesthouse looks like a dragon. The glass windows as its teeth and eyes, whereas the viewing platform on top is its ear perhaps?
We checked in the guesthouse in the evening. The small lobby was greeted by an atrium of 3 floors depth. Indeed, we need to take off our shoes and put on slippers in the guesthouse area.
The most enjoyable thing I like to do after checking in a particular accommodation is to have a look at my room. It didn't disappoint me though. Moreover, I was fascinated by the minimal, simple design of the room. Seriously, I loved it!
ROOM:
I was in love with the superb interior design of the room. AWW, I liked how the glass window matched harmoniously with the wall. It made me feel so calm and relax. The upper bed was a queen size bed and it could fit about 2 or 3 people however the lower ones was a single bed.
The calm well of light made the room looked so idyllic and beautiful in the dark.
TOILET & TOILETRIES
You can cook and stock your groceries here. How awesome ! Remember to tag your name on it as well.
Yes you can find some nice and meaningful postcards and send to your beloved friends and family! The staffs will help you to post your postcards within 2 or 3 days.
STAIRS AND VIEWING PLATFORM
I liked this place the most. It was amazing by just chilling out there, enjoying the cool breeze and beautiful scenery.
Location
Indeed strategic. Yongduam Rock, convenience shops, restaurants are nearby within walking distance. You may try the food and beverages at A Great Cafe, it never failed to make my mouth water whenever I passed by.
Staffs
The staffs ( I think they are the owners of the guesthouse) were helpful and accommodating! They can speak English fluently with American slang. They did great effort in providing so much information about our wanna-go places. Feel free to ask them if you have any enquiries. They are willing to lend a hand at any time.
Toilet
Even though it was quite small, as it had everything we needed such as shampoos ( which was good in quality, and it smelled so nice AWWW) , bath slippers, small towels etc.
Bed
It was so comfy! A great place to have a good night rest. It even made me have a hard time leaving the bed! Goshh
Breakfast
They serves the same breakfast everyday. However, I liked it. It was self-serviced too. Egg mayonnaise bread spread with strawberry jam ( perfect match) and a glass of orange juice literally made my day!
