Tips for Myeongdong Shopping and Food Hunt

Hello readers how are you? I guess I miss Korea too much now so I will update my blog oftenly about my great memories in Korea. I will definitely go back again because I really love the country so much because Korea satisfies every girl's dreams.

Reasons
1. There are a lot of clothing shops which sell good quality Korean Fashion clothing with reasonable prices. ( I really love Korean fashion - nice and simple)

2. There are many popular Korean cosmetics and skincare shops which you can get cheaper prices such as Innisfree, It's skin, Banila.co, the Saem, Espoir, Laneige, Etude House, Aritaum and More!

3. When you are tired of walking and shopping, there are dozens of well-designed cafes for you to chill. The number of cafes in Korea is equal to the number of convenient stores there so you can imagine it is really a huge number !

I think the best place defines the above reasons is Myeongdong, one of the MUST GO places in Korea.

Map of Myeongdong that I searched on Google. It is quite big and you may get lost easily like my friend and I.
TIPS : You can find people who are distributing flyers of the map. They will tell you where you are. You can ask them where you want to go too.

Lottle Young Plaza.
TIPS: You can find duty-free shops here.

There are tons of Korean branded skincare and cosmetics that you can find in Myeongdong! I bought a lot of skincare and cosmetics this time, maybe I will share my reviews of them in other post. Do leave me some comments if you want me to blog about it kekekeke.

You can "meet" some of the popular Korean idols while shopping and walking along the street such as EXO ( my favourite!) , Suzy, Leeminho, Kimsoohyun, G-dragon ...

I met Song Ji Hyo !!!!

Mixxo is one of the popular clothing brands in Korea. The brand ambassador is Girls Generation.

Korean shoe brand, Babara.

Flats from Babara. I like the silver-colored flat. But first, you need extra budget because it is considered very expensive for me

Kimsoohyun! I saw him everyday when I was in Korea.

TIPSAfter shopping, you can visit Namsan Tower which is near to Myeongdong for the beautiful night scenery.

Nature Republic :D

Police Station , haha so cute

Next, we had Korean traditional cold noodles at Myeongdong. This restaurant is quite popular for cold noodles which located at Myeongdong too.

Selfie while waiting for food to be served.
We ordered one bowl of traditional cold noodle to taste. The noodle came with a small cup of soup.  Price: 9000won ( about RM30 ). I personally think the noodle is very nice as you can feel the elasticity and texture of the noodles. It is recommended to eat during hot summer.

TIPS: You can share the food with you friends or family instead of ordering a portion for yourself because it is rather expensive compared eating at Malaysia and you get to taste different kinds of food !

Next, we were going for another food hunt in Myeongdong. The Chungmu kimbap! Price: 7000won. ( RM23 )

Rice was rolled with seaweed came with radish and squid. Actually we didn't expect the squid was so XXX spicy omg! It tasted a bit sweet at first but then, the spiciness boomed in your tongue suddenly.

My stupid expression after eating something very spicy.

TIPS: You can eat the radish if you feel spicy, it may reduce the spiciness temporarily

If you think traditional Korean food is rather boring, there are also lot of choices of food that you can find here.

For example, Isaac is very popular for its breakfast toast. There are many choices of toast to choose.

Ham toast, costs about 2400 won ( RM8 )

You can chill in a cafe too. A Twosome Place dessert cafe is definitely a good choice.

In conclusion, I really like Myeongdong ! We went back for shopping about 3 times hahahahahahaha.

Well, I think that is all for Myeongdong. Stay tuned for the next post :)

Love,
Chloe.
